Thought Forms
THE OUTCOME AND REACTIONS OF THOUGHT – FORCE
Acts are the outcome of properly nurtured thoughts. The qualities of thoughts is reflected in the activities of man. Those who want to make their efforts useful and auspicious should be conversant with their thought processes first. One should always be prepared to correct negative tendencies, relinquish useless thoughts and be ready always without hesitation to accept that which is useful.
The extraordinary influence of thought impresses people and surrounding atmosphere. Every thought that arises in the mind flows into the subtle world as invisible waves and influences who so ever comes in to their contact. Both good and bad thoughts center around the source in the environment. Whoever comes near it and those who pass by it react to it whether knowingly or unknowingly.
Scientists say that thoughts do not die. The vibrations of thoughts occur in ether. The atoms of a ether are very subtle. The subtleness can be understood that on a small microscopic particle of solid gold one can find millions of ether atoms. This means even gold cannot be an obstruction for thoughts. The element ether that is present in the seemingly solid gold particle becomes a medium for thought waves. The recent experiment of science confirms that using the ether atoms the thoughts generate specific well defined forms. These are called thought-forms. They cannot be seen because of their subtlety.
Many are the attempts made to see thought forms. The famous doctor from Germany Prof. Brainduck was successful in capturing the forms in ether on photographic plates. A Youngman was worried about his wife. Dr. Brainduck did not know it but when he was photographed instead of his being visible on the photo film the thought-forms were photographed and developed. IN his place the photo of his wife was seen on the photographic plate. Dr. Brainduck was successful in photographing similar thought forms. Kirlion photography is being recently much talked about. Kirlion was successful in photo graphing thought waves. Now it is being accepted as a fact that thought the waves generated in water or air in course of time get destroyed, the vibrations of thought-forms generated in ether never die. They continue for ever.
Thoughts not only effect the inner consciousness for also influence the external shapes. The power of thought plays a very important role in forming the external shapes of the object and nature of beings. The development of various physical organs (organs of the body) or the slow disappearance of a particular organ depend on the power of mind. This fact has also been accepted by Darwin the father of modern evolutionary theory. Depending on the inner nature of animals the external shapes appear. The tiger appears fearful and dangerous physically also becomes of its inherent nature. In the same way by its natural peaceful character the cow attracts and given peace. Nobody fears a cow. Even in human beings some people have a natural attraction whereas many invoke terror this is because of their inner inherent nature, which effects the persons who are near them.
It is the power of thought which moulds and forms the nature and shape of an individual. Not only the character and general standard of thoughts, every inch of the human physical body is also influenced by thoughts. The child growing in the mother’s womb is influenced and mould by the characters, actions and thoughts of the parents,. The most potent period to help, mould, direct, and determine the character of the child is the time he spends in the womb. After birth these sprout and mould the personality both inner and outer. The lives of all great people that history has produced confirms that it is the mothers who were behind their greatness. The character, the qualities and their acts were sown at the time of pregnancy. The extraordinary effects of the thoughts that prevailed in those crucial nine months influenced the child and they were molded accordingly.
The courage of Napolean Banoparte is known all over the world. Many people take him to the blessings of God. But knowledgeable historians knew the great role played by his mother. We learn that when Napolean was in the womb his mother used to read the biographies of great warriors written by the famous author Pluto and used to spend much of her time in studying the Greek Literature of Valor and Heroism. She herself was very courageous. She used to ride and order the soldiers who were under her husband. Her entire personality was itself full of courage, valor and strength. All these has their own subtle influence on Napolean. After birth Napolean was placed in similar environments that the latent seeds could get occasion to develop and to become a successful world renowned leader.
The history and puranas are full of examples showing the effect of the mother’s way of living and thinking on the child in the womb. Madalasa could by her own will make her own will make her three sons God knowing sages. By the special request of her husband she made her fourth child to be a successful capable ruler. Even in recent times the mother of Vinoba Bhave could make all her three children God realized souls by her strength of determination. From the time of pregnancy itself she started molding and giving the samskaras to the children she was about to conceive. A pious life with high ideals and plain living showed its miraculous effect on the children.
One can have the desired child fully monitoring the sex, color, I.Q etc. If one can mould their thoughts and actions accordingly. An American lady Marie Vineeca in one of her books writes that she read a book about the power of thoughts and how thoughts influence the children. At that time her second son was in her womb. She wanted to make him an expert to paintings. She used to go to different art exhibitions in America, observe the paintings very minutely trying to enjoy them. The effects were miraculous and her son became a great painter.
The harmful effects of sorrow, anxiety, worries, emotions, anger etc., influence the “Child in the womb”. Dr. Fowler in his book describes a lady patient who gave a dose of sleep inducing medicine to her very young child and went out. Because of overdose the child die. Her sorrow increased day by day and in that period she became pregnant. The child was born in a decreased condition and died within two years. This has more serious effect and the third child was born with a serious deformity and died within six months. Unable to bear this sorrow she also died soon.
Not only on the children in the womb, the thoughts whether good or bad influence people and environment also. Those who come in contact with it receive those thoughts and are influenced by them. When we go near a temple, church, masjid etc., we feel peaceful divine emotions naturally welling from our hearts. This is the effect of religious thoughts enveloping the environment which effects the people who go there. A peculiar type of hatred and anxiety can be felt when we pass by a bar, slaughter house, etc., because the agony and the fear the animals feel as the time of their being butchered envelopes the atmosphere giving similar effect on the passers by.
The sages knowing well this psychological fact advised and inspired to keep the mind always pure and serene and to act accordingly. Thought not only influence people but also environment, keeping this fact always in the fore front it is advisable to live with only noble thoughts having a place in our lives.
